The City of Folsom's Communication Office facilitates media relations, social media, advertising, marketing, graphic design, and community relations that support all city departments and programs. The City of Folsom's public information platforms includes a bimonthly citywide newsletter, weekly e-newsletter, website, numerous social media outlets, videos, utility bill inserts and regular community presentations. In emergency situations, vital information needed to ensure public safety is coordinated and disseminated through the city's public information channels.
