The California Association of Park and Recreation Commissioners & Board Members recognized Folsom Parks & Recreation with an Achievement Award for the department’s Renovation Master Plan. Pictured with the award are Folsom Parks & Recreation Director Lorraine Poggione and Facilities Maintenance Manager Tim O’Shea.
Construction begins the week of October 1 for the new bike/pedestrian undercrossing that will connect the Oak Parkway Trail to the Johnny Cash Trail. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the work zone on Natoma Street between Fargo Way and Prison Road.
Folsom Parks & Recreation’s popular Friday evening concert series returns this year in a virtual format, live streamed for you to enjoy from the safety and comfort of your own home.
Proceeds from the sale of the collectible will help fund “Cash’s Pick,” the first two public art installments along the Johnny Cash Trail.
